2010 SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

A $1000 College Scholarship Competition is held each spring for graduating high school seniors or college under-graduates who are or have been Spring City residents for at least four years. The subject of the competition is ‘The History and Architectural Heritage of Spring City.’ A five page research paper is required one year and a visual arts project will be required on alternate years.

The purpose of the competition is for young people of the town to learn more about their heritage.

The 2010 Competition requires a visual art project, entries are due May 19, 2009. Winner is announced during the Heritage Day celebration each year.
