Jacob Nielsen Log Cabin, c. 1870
289 South 200 West

This 1870s log cabin was built by Jacob Nielsen of logs hewn on top and bottom and joined at the corners with a “V” notch. The adjacent stone granary was built c. 1875. In the 1990s the current owners added a wood frame and clapboard addition at the rear of the cabin. The cabin originally faced 300 South.
