Scholarship Competition
Sponsored by The Friends of Historic Spring City
The Friends of Historic Spring City are pleased to offer a $1,000.00 College Scholarship to the winner of the 2007 competition, which will be in the Visual Arts, and judged by a panel of three impartial professional artists. Entrries may include ONE of the following:
- a black and white, color or digital photograph (minimum size 8" x 10" dry mounted on fiberboard.)
- a painting
- a drawing or print.

Submission should not be signed on the front to assure impartial judging.
- Applicants must be local, college-bound high school Seniors, or currently enrolled or accepted as an undergraduate student for the 2007-2008 Academic Year.
- Applicants must have been a Spring City resident for the past four years, and live within the Spring City Zip Code area (84662)
- Subject of the entry is Spring City's Architectural Heritage.
- All entries must be delivered to City Hall, 150 East Center, by 4:00pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2007.
- The finalist will be announced at Noon on Heritage Day, Saturday, May 26, 2007 st the Old Spring City School. Applicants should plan to be present.
- Please place the following information on the back of the work submitted; Name, address, phone number, school you attended or will attend during the 2006-07, or 2007-2008 Academic Year, title of the work, medium, and price you are asking if the work is for sale.
